Over-speccing sound costs money; under-speccing it means nobody hears the toast.

Karaoke that does not stall

The machine is the easy part. What makes karaoke work at a party is a host who keeps the queue moving and a screen everyone can see. Put the setup where the crowd is, not in a corner, and have somebody assigned to run it. If you would rather not, add an operator and we run it.

• Indoors or outdoors, and whether there is cover and power where the gear will sit.
• Roughly how many people.
• Whether anyone is performing live, or it is music from a phone and a microphone for toasts.
• Whether you want it delivered and set up, and whether you want an operator.
• Anything the venue has said about noise, hours or load-in.

Reunions and church socials are the events where a rented speaker, a microphone and a karaoke machine do the most work for the least money.
